Pricing principles

  • Bring your own AI provider: Advanced and Ultimate unlock the AI agent capability and AI-enhanced editors. Provider usage, model access, and third-party AI fees stay with the Claude or OpenAI account you supply — YAAA does not resell or bundle AI models.
  • License the capability, not the model: plans gate applet authoring, editor save access, protected-package distribution, and the AI agent interface. Model inference is always yours to control.
  • Keep local work explicit: applets run on your machine by default. Cloud, AI, license, telemetry, storage, and network connections are visible before use.
  • Separate now from in-development: all-surface AI control (live operation of every applet and editor) is in active development and is human-gated; do not treat it as a finished hands-free feature today.

AI on Advanced & Ultimate — what it means

The AI Agent and Multi-Agent Orchestration capabilities are available on the Advanced and Ultimate tiers. When enabled, YAAA's AI agent can inspect and operate applets and editors through app-owned safety gates.

You supply the model. Advanced and Ultimate activate the capability; neither includes hosted inference or a model subscription. Connect your own Claude API key or OpenAI account in Settings › AI Provider, and your usage is billed directly by your provider.

AI-Enhanced editors (PDF, DXF/CAD, Code, GUI, Spreadsheet) layer AI assistance on top of the full Pro editor set — contextual suggestions, draft generation, and intelligent review — all mediated through your own provider connection. Advanced includes every AI-enhanced editor but keeps the GUI Designer and Code Editor in view-and-edit (no save) mode; Ultimate adds full save on those two.

Editors — five modular plugins

All five editors ship as modular plugins. Starter lets you open and edit (no save). Pro unlocks full save, export, and workflow integration. Advanced and Ultimate add AI assistance on top — Advanced keeps the GUI Designer and Code Editor in view-and-edit (no save) mode, while Ultimate saves everywhere.

Protected packages and entitlement checks

Premium plugins and protected applets require a signed entitlement before they decrypt and run. Tampered packages, missing entitlements, wrong users, or invalid identities are denied.

  • Applet and plugin payloads are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and signed with Ed25519.
  • Entitlement records are keyed by user and app; license tokens include user, app, validity, and optional device binding.
  • Packages are denied when tampered or unauthorized — fail-closed by design.

Clear exclusions

  • No bundled AI models or credits: you bring and pay for your own provider account, key, endpoint, or subscription.
  • No finished all-surface AI autopilot: live AI operation of every applet and editor is in active development and remains human-approved.
  • No project-file encryption claim today: verified encryption covers applet packages, plugin packages, and production configuration.
  • No package invincibility claims: YAAA denies tampered or unauthorized packages; it does not promise impossible-to-defeat protection.
